Responsibilities
Complete training sessions offered by CTA
Organize and analyze the safety inspection dataset
Participate in field inspections
Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Full-time enrollment status in a degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail
Good project management skills
Knowledge of OSHA, IEPA and EPA regulations
Proficiency with Power BI or Python
Knowledgeable in data analysis
The demands associated with the normal office environment
Must be able to comply with office policy to work on-site twice per week
Light physical activity, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Walking 6 miles a week
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment
Preferred
Preferred Major(s): Occupational Safety, Environmental Management Studies, Industrial Hygienist
Preferred Level of Education: College graduate student
