Responsibilities

Digitize and archive historical route history
Build a historical LOS and passenger load dataset
Analyze high-load trips to estimate the magnitude of various factors that contribute to crowding
Conduct focused case studies on high load routes/periods to provide actionable insights for planning
Develop a Power BI and GIS dashboards with findings and historical information
Align analysis and dashboards with service planning standards and processes

Required

Full-time enrollment status in a degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail
Good project management skills
Understanding of transit planning fundamentals
Ability to extract information from available data and concisely summarize in presentable materials
Experience with Esri's ArcGIS suite
Experience with SQL

Preferred

Preferred Major(s): Urban Planning, Architecture, Public Policy, Urban Design, Transportation Planning, Geography, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, Logistics or related field
Preferred Level of Education: College graduate student
Knowledge in data programming languages preferred
