Senior Account Manager, Attractions, Tourism and the Arts
Schaefer Advertising Co. is an agency focused on making life better for clients and fostering a community-oriented culture. The Senior Account Manager will manage a roster of Attractions, Tourism and the Arts clients, cultivating strong relationships and delivering strategic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
The senior account manager is expected to work seamlessly with agency teams to bring client initiatives to completion
The senior account manager also has fiscal accountability at the account level - including management of project and client budgets and account profitability and growth
Ability to identify and constructively think about strategic client opportunities and marketing initiatives under the leadership of agency management
Keen interest in client business and a self-initiator to grow your own knowledge base
Contribute to strategic business plans and/or projects such as brand positioning
Support media efforts with the ability to sell, pitch, explain and fuel execution and guide insights on in-market performance
Above all, execute marketing programs that yield the desired business results for our clients
Successfully manage, maintain and build client relationships to support agency growth
Maintain proactive communications with both client and management team on account and project status
Own project management for all account initiatives to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet or exceed client expectations
Articulate, and adhere to, agreed-upon project directives and production guidelines
Collaborate effectively with digital, creative, production and other teams to facilitate and complete client initiatives
Craft and present creative/media briefs, presentation decks to clients and present to creative upon client approval
Prepare or oversee accurate and timely internal communication: conference reports, status reports, budgets, etc
Initiate and sell in appropriate recommendations to support client objectives and grow account profitability
Work in conjunction with the specialty teams, production manager and external resources to develop estimates and get them approved by our clients
Work with production manager and accounting rep on monthly billing for assigned clients
Participate in monthly client forecasting
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in a full-service marketing or advertising agency environment
Demonstrated experience in — and passion for — conversion-focused campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, from strategic development through flawless execution
Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including creative, media, and production
Exceptionally strong organizational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proven success in building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and trust
A creative, strategic thinker who brings curiosity and initiative to every client challenge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, persuasive presence
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and flexible approach
Adaptable and resilient in the face of change or shifting priorities
Motivated to grow professionally and advance within a high-performing team
Working knowledge of digital media and paid campaign fundamentals, with the ability to communicate effectively between internal teams and clients
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
