Responsibilities

Lead procurement (sourcing and buying) for Engineering & Construction projects in support of project pursuit and execution
Partner with Project and Procurement Managers to align schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies
Develop bidder lists, manage pre-qualifications, and ensure commercial, diversity (MBE/WBE), and corporate compliance
Prepare and issue RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate commercial terms, and recommend contract awards
Coordinate technical proposal reviews with EPC engineering teams and ensure contract flow-down requirements
Draft, review, and finalize supplier and subcontract agreements in compliance with internal and client standards
Manage supplier relationships, procurement risks, and maintain Procurement Status Reports (PSRs)
Validate materials and quantities, support materials management, and resolve delivery, shortage, and damage issues

Required

7+ years of direct procurement experience within Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) environments, required
Demonstrated expertise managing vendor and subcontractor RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and material logistics for construction-driven projects
Hands-on experience with supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, expediting, and delivery coordination on large, high-value infrastructure or capital projects
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related discipline
Strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills with a high level of attention to contractual detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Proven ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional project, engineering, and construction teams
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including internal leadership, field teams, and external suppliers

Preferred

Established vendor and subcontractor network within Transmission & Distribution (T&D), energy, or power infrastructure sectors
