Summer 2026 Museum Education Intern (Paid)
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a premier institution dedicated to documenting and interpreting the history of country music. They are seeking a Museum Education Intern to assist with community outreach programs, support program delivery, and gain hands-on experience in museum education within the Nashville community.

Responsibilities
Support community outreach programs in off-site settings like libraries, parks, and festivals
Assist in administrative tasks related to community outreach programming, including data recording, inventory of supplies, and more
Set specific, personal goals and work with the Community Outreach Manager to achieve them
Develop and practice interdepartmental communication skills and general professionalism
Perform administrative tasks, as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled, credit-seeking, and/or degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student
Be available to work 18-25 hours per week, flexible between Wednesday-Saturday 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Valid driver's license and ability to drive in and around Nashville for community outreach programs
Lift 25 lbs. or less
Preferred
Interest in museum education, music, American history, and youth-focused program development
Ability to play one or more instrument
Experience or course work in education, history, and/or the fine arts
Knowledge of country music, or willingness to learn
Experience working with children and/or teaching
Ability to multitask and solve problems
Comfortability working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
