Manufacturing Engineering Intern
Perlick is dedicated to helping the world serve better by delivering exceptional experiences. The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will collaborate with various teams to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities
Evaluates current manufacturing processes and implements improvements by designing, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials, conferring with equipment vendors, and soliciting input from operators
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
Assist in implementing continuous improvement modifications of existing processes or equipment
Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers reviewing routings for content and correctness, making corrections or updates as appropriate
Assist in further creating of SOPs that align with current departmental training matrices
Other duties, learning objectives and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Works well in a team atmosphere
Able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize - a self-starter mentality
Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving and analysis skills
Great attention to detail and possess poise, a strong work ethic, and the ability to interact with people in a professional manner while having fun and generating the required results
Proficient in MS Office, including, but not limited to, Excel, Word and Outlook
2D and/or 3D modeling software experience
