Manage and mentor a team of software engineers to achieve business outcomes
Ensure the team delivers on the team’s goals
Guide the team to build robust architectures while avoiding premature over-investments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Marketing, Design, Production) to align on priorities and unblock hurdles
Foster engineer growth through coaching, feedback, and tailored development plans
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years managing engineering teams
A proven track record of leading teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software systems in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in system design and architecture, with experience guiding teams to balance short-term needs with long-term scalability
Strong people management skills, with experience mentoring engineers and fostering career growth
Excel at cross-functional collaboration, aligning diverse teams to achieve shared goals
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving execution in a high-stakes, outcome-driven environment
Experience with metrics-driven development, such as building dashboards or tracking KPIs like first-pass yield or bug resolution SLAs
