InternPlatform Aerospace is a company focused on supporting various military aircraft and UAV developments. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist with the design of mechanical products and support the engineering team in technical activities related to product development.

Responsibilities
Assist with preparing layouts and various mechanical drawings including modifications and/or new design
Supports engineering team in various technical activities related to design and technical product development
Support engineering team in maintaining BOM’s, preparing parts and assemblies for production
Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's level degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Preferred
Some entry level experience and passion in mechanical design, 3D CAD design (Solidworks) is desired
Familiarity with material properties and ability to perform basic analysis
Familiarity with part drawings, assembly drawings and machine shop practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to be self-sufficient
