The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across energy and utility projects, focusing on gas, electric, inspection, and field operations roles while ensuring compliance and an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical, field, inspection, and professional roles across energy and utility projects
Partner with hiring managers, project leadership, and clients to understand workforce needs, timelines, and compliance requirements
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, Indeed, Loxo, job boards, referrals, and talent communities
Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical qualifications, certifications, and cultural fit
Manage offer processes, negotiations, and onboarding coordination
Ensure recruiting practices align with utility, regulatory, and safety-driven environments
Maintain accurate records and reporting within ATS and CRM systems
Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and workflows
Support talent community initiatives to build long-term pipelines for future projects
Review requisitions and prioritize hiring needs based on project timelines
Source and engage candidates for gas, electric, inspection, and infrastructure roles
Conduct phone and virtual interviews
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients
Track candidate progress and maintain ATS data accuracy
Communicate regularly with stakeholders on hiring status and pipeline health
Extend offers and guide candidates through onboarding steps
Proactively build and nurture talent pools for recurring utility roles
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in energy, utility, infrastructure, or technical industries
Proven experience recruiting for field-based, technical, or inspection roles
Strong working knowledge of ATS and CRM systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, HubSpot or similar)
Experience sourcing candidates using Indeed, Loxo, LinkedIn and major job boards
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset
Preferred
Experience recruiting for gas distribution, transmission, or midstream projects
Familiarity with utility certifications, OQ requirements, or regulatory-driven hiring
Experience supporting external clients or project-based staffing models
Background in process improvement, ATS implementation, or recruiting operations
Prior experience building or managing a talent community or pipeline program
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
