Responsibilities
Collaborate with Members of the group on a wide range of substantive international and business tax and transfer pricing matters
Projects generally will include planning and advisory work for public corporations, privately held businesses, individuals, and foreign sovereign clients with respect to cross-border business transactions and investments, transfer pricing, and APA/MAP work
Gain exposure to pre-immigration or expatriation planning and cross-border compliance matters, treaty interpretation, purely domestic transactions, and technical tax support on controversy matters
Qualification
Required
First- or second-year tax associate
Demonstrated interest in international tax, transfer pricing, partnership tax and/or transactional tax issues
Intellectual curiosity
Practical problem-solving instincts
Strong academic credentials
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Sound judgment
Ability to work as a team player
Preferred
Prior relevant legal work experience
LL.M. in Taxation
