Responsibilities
Support licensed attorneys on litigation and labor & employment matters
Conduct legal research and assist with interpretation of applicable laws and regulations
Draft legal memoranda, contracts, policies, procedures, and other legal documents under attorney direction
Assist with responses to complaints and claims filed with federal and/or state agencies (e.g., EEOC) and courts
Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented legal environment
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher required
Currently enrolled as a Juris Doctor (JD) student at an accredited U.S. law school required with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong project orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Sound judgment, decision-making, and listening skills
Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional service
Professional demeanor and appearance
Preferred
