Ability to manage and maintain AWS Cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, monitoring and cost optimization
Ability to write Python scripts to automate tasks, such as data processing, file management and system administration
Ability to translate deployment practices into automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash scripts and/or other automation tools
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations and Security teams
Knowledge of Agency governance and compliance practices as they relate to AWS and other Cloud environments to include Government best practices and Enterprise services, processes and procedures
Architect background; ability to advise customer management on technical conversations within the team to support customer tools and operations; be the team technical rep. at technical meetings

Preferred
We are looking for an Systems Engineer with a minimum of eleven (11) years' experience, a Bachelor's or Master's Degrees are preferred and have a background utilizing the following:
AWS Services
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch and CloudTrail
Ability to manage and maintain AWS Cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, monitoring and cost optimization
Python Programming
Proficient in Python programming language (version 3.9 or later)
Ability to write Python scripts to automate tasks, such as data processing, file management and system administration
Familiarity with popular Python libraries, such as Boto3 (AWS SDK for Python), requests and Django
Automation
Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Ability to translate deployment practices into automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash scripts and/or other automation tools
Other
Familiarity with Version Control systems such as Git and specifically, GitHub
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and CloudWatch
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations and Security teams
Knowledge of Agency governance and compliance practices as they relate to AWS and other Cloud environments to include Government best practices and Enterprise services, processes and procedures
Architect background; ability to advise customer management on technical conversations within the team to support customer tools and operations; be the team technical rep. at technical meetings
