Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will provide senior program leadership across PMAT’s portfolios, ensuring effective execution and supporting growth efforts.

Responsibilities
Provide senior-level program leadership and oversight across PMAT programs as assigned
Augment and support Program Managers on complex, high-visibility, or at-risk efforts
Lead or advise on cost, schedule, scope, and risk management for mission-critical programs
Assess program health, identify execution risks early, and drive corrective action
Serve as a trusted interface with government stakeholders and prime contractors
Support transitions, surge efforts, or new program stand-up as needed
Mentor program managers and technical leads, reinforcing disciplined execution and accountability
Support capture and proposal efforts by bringing execution-grounded insight to strategy and solution shaping
Advise on staffing approaches, management strategies, and transition plans
Review proposal content to ensure commitments are realistic, defensible, and executable
Assist with on-contract growth opportunities, including scope expansion and follow-on work
Act as a bridge between capture and delivery to ensure alignment between proposed and executed work
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing DoD or Navy programs
Proven success leading large, complex, multi-million-dollar programs (prime or subcontract)
Strong background in combat systems, C5I, systems engineering, or test and evaluation environments
Experience serving as the primary interface with government customers and senior stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical and operational teams
Experience with contract execution, including SOW/PWS compliance, cost/schedule management, and risk management
Experience supporting business development and capture activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree required
U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)
Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
