Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support large-scale network and infrastructure solutions for complex operational environments
Analyze user and system requirements and translate them into secure, scalable hardware, software, and telecom solutions
Lead full lifecycle system efforts including procurement, installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Develop system architecture, configuration documentation, and operational procedures
Implement and enforce security controls, including firewalls, access controls, and disaster recovery solutions
Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and proactively resolve issues using industry-standard tools
Deliver user training and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network environments
Proven success delivering end-to-end system solutions at scale (e.g., multi-site environments with large server and switch footprints)
Strong experience with campus and multi-site network management across multiple vendors
Network cabling and infrastructure: SC/LC fiber, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a
Network hardware and platforms: Cisco, Extreme switches, Aruba OS, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Airwave
Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools: Wireshark, PuTTY, SolarWinds (NTA, NPM, NCM, Dameware)
Firewall configuration and access requests
Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) environments
VoIP infrastructure
Zscaler
VMware and virtual server environments
VPN technologies
Video telecommunication systems support and troubleshooting
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred
Experience supporting large, data-intensive or document management systems
Strong understanding of security and accessibility requirements in regulated environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
