Vice President Robotic Service Line

Responsibilities
Engage and support Field Service Line Leaders
Collaborate with Division/Market RSL leaders to optimize RSL performance
Plan and lead RSL User Groups (peer group of Divisions RSL leaders)
Assist with onboarding of new Division/Market/Hospital RSL leaders
Elevate needs to proper teams to support growth initiatives
Partner with divisions, hospitals, and HPG team members to launch and manage RSL pilots
Evaluate business need and garner necessary support
Engage with local teams to monitor supplier support, technology adoption, operational impact, and business plan performance
Create RSL Resources and Tools in the areas of analytics, strategic planning, and best practice development
Develop new tools and analytics for field team members
Provide dashboard and/or data tools of historical and current performance metrics to enable easy access for field team members
Attend conferences and remain up to date in key industry trends related to RSL
Partner with HCA Research Institute, the field, and physician leaders to advance the Robotics Research Strategy
Support prioritization of internally funded outcomes studies
Engage with vendors to identify funded research opportunities and priorities
Advance efforts to develop our outcomes registry
Support Strategic Growth Initiatives
Oversee capital planning and acquisition decisions
Support strategic capital deployment through business plan assessment and review
Conduct regular communication with selected Markets to more fully support business plan development and execution
Provide reports on investment performance and ROI
Maintain robotic fleet to optimize capital investment and performance
Attend RSL planning meetings, in person
Enhance and refine growth tactics in support of program development opportunities
Accelerate execution through stakeholder involvement, removal of barriers, etc
Interview key physician and administrative leaders
Support the assessment of RSL capital infrastructure
Serve as a partner to surgeon leaders and KOLs to drive training programs, proctorships, skill labs, etc
Support Strategic Contract Initiatives
Assist in the prioritization of supply expense savings opportunities and execution on planned tactics
Develop strategic supplier partnership to support growth initiatives and leverage access/purchases to drive cost savings
Develop RSL market knowledge and facilitate Division summits
Oversee development of analytics to support summits
Participate in Division/Market RSL meetings (remotely and in-person)
Support development of ad-hoc analytics and reports to align with key growth areas
Serve as point-of-contact for data and analytics requests from the RSL team, collaborate with other teams to complete
Drive Operational Excellence & Scalability
Standardize enterprise operating models for robotics programs across hospitals and ASCs
Optimize staffing models, meeting formats/schedules, training pathways
Drive consistency while allowing for local clinical customization
Engage with Supplier & Industry Partnerships
Lead strategic relationships with technology suppliers, i.e, robot platform manufacturers, software and imaging vendors, startup organizations, and industry thought leaders
Evaluate and manage vendor performance, pricing, and technology roadmaps
Represent the organization in industry forums, advisory boards, and innovation consortia
Communicate RSL Status and Performance with Leadership
Create and manage advisory meetings with key stakeholders to provide industry updates and drive consensus on corporate strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree - Required
15+ years of related experience - Required
Preferred
Master's Degree - Preferred
Possesses hospital and/or multi-hospital-system level service line planning (preferably Robotics) experience and good grasp of administrative and clinical work flow in care settings including inpatient, emergency department and outpatient - Preferred
Understands major trends in healthcare, managed care and reimbursement - Preferred
HCA experience preferred or similar-level Robotics experience outside of HCA - Preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence with senior-most organizational and physician leaders - Preferred
