Responsibilities
Develops, modifies, and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products
Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives
Designs and implements software development and maintenance processes
Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes
Designs, specifies, and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification, and validation
Evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards
Performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements
Reviews requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies
Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability
Travel may be required to support program activities
Qualification
Required
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
The selected candidate must have a secret clearance

Travel may be required to support program activities
Preferred
Familiar with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and Gitlab
Familiar with automated test system platforms (NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, SystemLink)
Basic understanding of electro-mechanical engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with the ability to inspect drawings for compliance
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
Experience With Presentation & Problem Solving Skills
Experience with Government customers
Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)
Experience with verification and validation processes
Different program phase experience (development, production, sustainment)
Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, corrective action, preventive action, Root Cause Analysis)
SAP software and DELMIA Apriso
Handling and Dispositioning Nonconformances
