Confidential is an early-stage startup on a mission to revolutionize ERP-native B2B payments. They are seeking a Junior Product Manager to work on the core payments engine, focusing on the commercial strategy, design, and end-to-end product development of domestic and cross-border money movement.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Write detailed PRDs, user stories & acceptance criteria for payments and FX flows, capturing E2E money movement flows: initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exceptions
Translate bank specs, rail rules, and FX partner APIs into product logic
Support design and improvement of the full payment lifecycle
Help manage cut-offs, settlement windows, and reconciliation formats
Coordinate sandbox testing, UAT, and certification with banks and partners
Embed KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and approval controls into all payment flows
Maintain product documentation that explains payment capabilities / limits / SLAs, including payment flow diagrams, API behavior notes, and bank-specific limitations
Define KPIs to evaluate metrics such as success rates, settlement TAT, FX margin, return rates
Support root-cause analysis of payment failures and transform learnings in product reliability and scalability improvement

Required

3–5 years of experience in product, fintech, payments, banking or technical product roles
Comfortable reading and creating API documentation, sequence diagrams, and data schemas
High attention to detail and ability to think through edge cases
Exposure to B2B payment flows via stablecoin transfers, ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, RTP, or FX platforms
Experience with AP flows and ERP integrations
Familiarity with reconciliation, ledgering and financial reporting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfort moving fast and learning on the job
Good judgment, curiosity, and attention to detail
