Fixed Asset Accountant
Aston Carter is a fast-growing defense contractor seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant for a fully remote interim consulting role. The role involves managing the fixed assets module in Costpoint, handling additions and disposals, and overseeing capital reporting.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the fixed assets module in Costpoint
Handle additions, disposals, and calculate depreciation for fixed assets
Collaborate with business unit directors on capital expenditure spending
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly capital reporting schedules
Perform fixed assets reconciliations by entity
Assist in managing questions during fixed assets inventory without performing the inventory
Coordinate fixed assets inventory processes
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of experience in fixed assets accounting
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP for reconciliations and reporting
Experience working in a deadline-driven accounting environment
Preferred
Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP, specifically the Fixed Assets Module
Experience in the defense contracting industry
Familiarity with SOX/DCAA compliance
