They are seeking a personable Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and support the local Naval community. The role involves engaging with customers, maintaining store appearance, and processing transactions using a Point-of-Sales system.

Responsibilities
Proactively engages, connects and listens to customers by asking questions to determine customers’ needs
Directing customers to merchandise; informing them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions all while providing premier customer service
Maintains store appearance
Using a Point-of-Sales system, processing cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling) including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customer
Qualification
Required
Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Preferred
Previous Retail Experience preferred but not required
High School Graduate Or Equivalent Preferred
