Responsibilities
You will participate in monthly learning modules throughout your first year as part of your EA SPORTS Academy cohort and
You will be embedded in an EA SPORTS Development Team and:
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and software engineers to deliver features for a cross-platform game
Write clear and estimable technical design specifications
Use C/C++ to ship tested and high-quality technical implementations that meet design requirements
Follow best practices to maximize game performance across multiple devices and platforms
Qualification
Required
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, or equivalent training and professional experience
Proficiency in C++ programming
Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices
Strength working in a collaborative team environment
Experience solving challenging engineering problems with creative technical solutions
Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge, principles, and solutions
Preferred
1+ years of experience with another programming language(s) (C# or Java) and/or platforms (mobile, game consoles) is a major plus
