Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center’s Conditional Release Program (CONREP) is seeking a Psychologist to fulfill the role of Forensic Clinician in its Satellite, Statewide Transitional Residential Treatment Program (STRP). The role involves providing specialized therapy and support to an adult forensic population while ensuring compliance with documentation and treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

Providing forensically focused individual and group therapy, home visits, crisis intervention, case management services, and urine screens, to an adult forensic population

Documentation on all services provided must be submitted within 24-hours of service delivery

Clinical staff participates in all meetings and supervision activities

Assists with any other project as indicated by the Program Director or Program Coordinator as needed

Qualification

Required

Doctor's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, or related area from an accredited university

Eligible for licensure, according to California Board of Psychology, and or psychological assistant or registered psychologist waiver

Knowledge of medications, working knowledge of current diagnostic manual

Clinical experience in provision of individual or group treatment and training with multi-racial (ethnic) populations

Bilingual Proficiency: Must be professionally fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English

Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance

Valid California Driver's license

TB clearance

Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish to be considered for this role
