Responsibilities
Supports certain IT applications and/or operations within the global IT department. May program, administer, develop, maintain, troubleshoot and install a number of systems or functions
Contributes to various projects from concept to completion
Supports on-call schedule and response to priority IT incidents as needed
Assists in determining, evaluating and recommending technical solutions to address business needs
May administer certain user accounts, to include security, account creation, account deletion, and all related maintenance
May assist in system upgrade projects, to include planning, administering and communicating details to relevant IT team members and other non-technical users
Maintains all relevant technical documentation to ensure easy knowledge transfer within area of responsibility
Works with cross-functional IT teams to develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues impacting the business
Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of hands-on IT support experience, with significant time in senior/executive (VIP) support roles
Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies – especially Windows OS, Microsoft 365 Suite, Teams, and Outlook
Proficient in supporting a wide range of devices and operating systems (Windows, and ideally some macOS/iOS/Android familiarity)
Strong understanding of network/VPN connectivity, enterprise security practices, and AV conferencing tools
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to interact confidently with C-level executives and explain technical information in clear, business-friendly terms
Maintains strict confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
Experience working with global teams and coordinating across different time zones
Skilled at managing vendor relationships and ensuring external partners meet service expectations
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or similarly complex, fast-paced industry is highly preferred
Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications, CompTIA A+/Network+, ITIL certification for service management)
Strong process and internal customer focus
Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging technologies in relevant areas
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated infrastructure security focus and best practice working habits
Experience leading and contributing to infrastructure projects within a fast-paced value focused culture
