Director of Clinical Operations
NovumHealth is a rebranded organization that provides mental health and substance abuse services across Nevada and has expanded to Arizona, California, and Utah. The Director of Clinical Operations will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for mental health programs and services, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices
Collaborate with clinical partners regarding member care, demonstrating clinical expertise in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders
Recruit, supervise, and mentor a team of mental health professionals
Lead the development and expansion of behavioral health programs, including outpatient services, crisis intervention, and telehealth options rooted in evidencebased treatment
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and implement quality assurance initiatives
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive clinical quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency
Foster strong relationships with payers, regulators, and community partners to support growth and sustainability
Ensure ethical conduct and compliance with laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and consent

Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years in a care coordination or care management role, and 3 years of which are in behavioral health
Minimum Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Doctorate preferred)
Must hold an active and unrestricted license to practice in Utah as a Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health
Must be willing to receive vaccinations in accordance with hospital and state requirements
Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking abilities to guide behavioral health operations and drive improved mental health outcomes
Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in mental health and substance abuse treatment, evidencebased practices, and traumainformed care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse behavioral health professionals and stakeholders
Business acumen and financial management skills to optimize behavioral health resources and budgets
Understanding of behavioral health regulations, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation standards
Proven track record in driving clinical excellence, patient safety, and positive mental health outcomes
Visionary mindset and ability to anticipate and adapt to changing trends and challenges in the behavioral health industry
Decisiveness and the ability to make informed, datadriven decisions in complex clinical situations
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple behavioral health programs and initiatives
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and integrity in all behavioral health and administrative decisions
Preferred
Previous experience in behavioral health or healthcare environments
More than 5 years of experience in operations management or a related leadership role, and more than 3 years in a people management role
Strong knowledge of operational principles, practices, and methodologies
Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and process improvement initiatives
Experience in healthcare or mental health is strongly preferred
