Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance Center

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for maintenance support to the Operating Unit which will enable the Unit to achieve smooth operation, manufacture high-quality products and avoid unscheduled process interruptions
Proactively communicate and work with operating units (maintenance and operations) continuously to establish and identify equipment criticality and provide standby equipment for critical equipment
Oversees and supports operating units to ensure proper knowledge on equipment
Gather, compile, analyze, report, and make recommendations with critical impact on production planning, credit, quality, logistics, and customer service
Coordinate directly with concerned departments, with reference to applicable codes and REGAGAP, to develop, write, and update Maintenance procedures to provide guidelines and instructions for subject topics to ensure consistency through the complex
Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total House Keeping Maintenance program
Qualification
Required
0–3 years of experience in maintenance, equipment reliability, or mechanical engineering in petrochemical industries is preferred
Academic background: Heat Transfer, Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Statics and Dynamics, Engineering Economics
Knowledge of corporate 'work flow' system, department responsibilities, and maintenance procedures
Familiar with PC office software's including Word and Excel Spreadsheet
Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and assume responsibility
General knowledge of industrial safety and regulatory requirements
B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; other B.S. Engineering disciplines considered
Will require training in Company Policies and Procedures after hire
Current employees must meet all technical and safety training requirements for current position, as specified in the Master Training Plan
