Responsibilities

Help move the Gender Informed Practices Assessment (GIPA) strategic plan from concept to action by coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, and supporting the day-to-day work that drives meaningful change
Partner closely with facility leadership and staff to ensure policies, procedures, and programming align with agency objectives and reflect gender-responsive, trauma-informed approaches
Serve as a key resource for research and planning—gathering best practices, compiling and analyzing data, and translating information into clear recommendations and written products to guide decision-making
Support collaboration across internal teams and with external stakeholders by coordinating meetings and workgroups, documenting outcomes and action items, and helping communicate progress and expectations so implementation efforts remain organized, consistent, and sustainable—ultimately improving services and outcomes for adults in custody

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two (2) years experience coordinating or administering a program
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification
Experience coordinating projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
Ability to research, synthesize information, and produce clear written products (briefs, reports, recommendations, or summaries)
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, gender-informed and trauma-responsive approaches in a correctional, human services, or behavioral health environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including tracking action items and maintaining documentation
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including leadership, frontline staff, and external partners
Comfort working in a secure environment and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
