Engineering Technician II

This role primarily involves responding to traffic safety-related citizen service requests and assisting professional engineering staff, including traffic analysis and data collection.

Qualification

Engineering DegreeTechnical Engineering ExperienceTexas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control DevicesGeographic Information SystemsAutoCADCustomer Service

Required

Associate's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field
Two (2) years of increasingly responsible technical engineering experience in the areas of drafting, project design, review/analysis of projects for conformance of established standards and/or land surveying
A valid Driver's License

Preferred

Knowledge of the latest version of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD)
Proficiency with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Proficiency in use of AutoCAD
Customer service experience
