Responsibilities
Assist in collecting and preprocessing textual data from our documentation
Collaborate with team members to design and implement a suitable transformer architecture for our language
Contribute to the model training process, including initialization, defining objectives, and optimization
Help evaluate and fine-tune the model for improved performance in documentation search tasks
Explore and implement techniques for efficient model deployment and integration with existing systems
Document processes, findings, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen; this position requires access to customer data
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and NLP techniques
Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Basic understanding of transformer architectures and language models
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Prior experience with NLP projects or language model development
Familiarity with tools like Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, or NLTK
Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques for text data
Understanding of model evaluation metrics and fine-tuning processes
