Responsibilities
Design and maintain ingestion, standardization, match/merge prep, and golden‑record pipelines for Profisee + Snowflake
Build batch, micro‑batch, and real‑time pipelines using Kafka/MSK, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Glue
Deliver mastered data to downstream apps, Snowflake EDW, APIs, and integration layers
Transform source data into canonical schemas using Iceberg or engineered transformations
Configure Profisee entities, match/merge logic, survivorship, and validation pipelines
Automate golden‑record promotion into Snowflake and publish attribute updates downstream
Adapt pipelines to model changes and schema evolution
Work closely with Data Stewards to turn governance rules into executable logic
Implement DQ checks using Great Expectations, Soda, Deequ, or SQL
Ensure lineage, metadata, survivorship, and referential integrity best practices
Build reusable onboarding patterns for new MDM domains
Partner with ingestion, integration, and access‑layer teams to ensure accurate end‑to‑end consumption
Collaborate with Security, IAM, and DevOps for secure MDM operations
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and guidance for junior engineers
Ensure SLAs for batch + streaming MDM jobs
Support incident triage, match conflicts, rule tuning, and schema evolution
Maintain runbooks, playbooks, and continuous‑improvement documentation
Monitor and optimize platform performance and data quality
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in MDM (Profisee required)
Experience delivering MDM solutions in AWS with strong knowledge of Kafka/MSK, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway
Strong Python + SQL, and experience with dbt/Spark/Glue
Snowflake expertise (Streams/Tasks, Iceberg, RBAC)
Background in financial services or other regulated, data‑intensive industries preferred
Experience implementing real‑time/event‑driven mastering patterns
Understanding of survivorship, matching, identity resolution, lineage, and canonical modeling
CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Bitbucket)
