Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and development agreements
Conduct due diligence, title review, and coordinate closings for commercial and residential transactions
Advise clients on zoning, land use, environmental compliance, and tax considerations (including 1031 exchanges)
Handle financing transactions, including mortgage and loan documentation
Collaborate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other professionals to ensure smooth closings
Maintain direct client relationships and provide strategic, practical counsel
Qualification
Required
3+ years of real estate transactions experience, including commercial purchases, sales, financings, and leasing
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Comfort advising developers, investors, lenders, and property owners
Admitted in New Jersey (additional admissions a plus)
Collaborative, client-focused mindset with interest in long-term growth
