Responsibilities
Project manage customer special requests - Non-Standard Requests (NSRs) based on requirements defined by Sales and Engineering to meet the customer’s requirements in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing
Review and translate customer requirements into engineering specifications including component impact analysis
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering efforts to meet the production requirements of customer specific systems
Drive clarity in initial customer request. Confirm that Engineering has sufficient information to develop scope, quote and design
Ensure customer requests are technically feasible and applicable to the product and configuration requested
Manages and interface with stakeholders and hold them accountable for timeliness and accuracy of their deliverables
Reduce NSRs by interacting with Product Managers, Engineering, and other teams to cancel redundant design activities
Managing account team expectations regarding delivery dates. Assess complexity of the customer request and ensure order can be fulfilled within standard product lead times. Validate and approve or reject expedite requests
Qualification
Required
BS in mechanical/electrical or system engineering or equivalent work experience
5+ years of related work experience, semiconductor industry preferred
Ability to translate customer requirements into engineering specifications including component impact analysis
Ability to successfully interact with and coordinate across diverse parts of the organization, technical and non-technical
Intermediate to advanced MS Office suite, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with Hardware Configuration/Product Management, including Bills of Materials and Engineering change processes
Preferred
Knowledge of Lam semiconductor capital equipment
Experience with MRP system planning, ordering, and scheduling materials, preferably using SAP
Experience in production/manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience in Project Management
PMP or equivalent certification
Presentation skills
