Director of Corporate Accounting
AccruePartners is a vertically integrated real estate investment and operating platform focused on self-storage and retail assets. The Director of Corporate Accounting will manage corporate, fund, and asset-level accounting, ensuring timely and GAAP-compliant financial reporting while collaborating with various teams to support acquisitions and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities
Ensure timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting across corporate entities, funds, and property-level operations
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including consolidated reporting, fund closes, and investor deliverables
Oversee fund accounting, capital accounts, waterfalls, capital calls, and distributions to support investor transparency
Provide financial insight into asset and portfolio performance, including NOI, cash flow, budget-to-actual variance, and return metrics
Partner with asset management, development, and acquisitions teams on transactions, due diligence, and capital planning
Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, audit readiness, and compliance across a complex real estate structure
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably within real estate, private equity, or fund environments
Deep expertise in corporate, fund, and partnership accounting, including consolidations and investor reporting
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, real estate accounting, lease accounting, and joint venture structures
Experience managing audits, tax engagements, and working directly with external advisors and stakeholders
Hands-on experience with Yardi or similar real estate ERP systems
Proven leader with the ability to build teams, drive process improvements, and partner cross-functionally
Preferred
CPA preferred
MBA or advanced accounting/finance credentials a plus
