Responsibilities
Maintain supplier performance scorecards, which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and cost
Maintain supplier documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities
Authorize payment of invoices
Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise
Purchase and expedite all components and services related to the manufacture of finished product, maintenance, repair and operations requirements
Initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Preferred
A degree in one of the following majors: Business
A degree in one of the following majors: Supply Chain Management
A degree in one of the following majors: Operations Management
Prior industry experience
Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts
Prior Oracle experience
Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event
