As the Accounting Specialist for Subsidy Accounts Receivable, you'll be responsible for expediting the agency payment process within the childcare assistance program and ensuring accurate, timely processing while coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Input agency deposit data into the center management system accurately and timely
Communicate with Centers and Coordinators when agency payments are ready for allocation
Create, maintain, and reconcile master deposit logs
Research agency payments and resolve discrepancies as needed
Maintain a 48-hour turnaround time for entering agency payments into the system
File and maintain all required documentation in accordance with company and Subsidy policies
Collaborate with staff members, other departments, and state agency representatives while maintaining a customer service focus
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in general office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrated customer service orientation
High attention to detail with strong accuracy
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and analytical thinking
Can quickly adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment
Basic accounting knowledge
Preferred
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., banking, healthcare, or accounts receivable)
Two (2) years of accounts receivable experience
