Responsibilities

Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, reflecting the Bergdorf Goodman brand and service standards
Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating to ensure optimal dining flow
Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff regarding table status and guest needs
Maintain an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area
Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible with discretion and professionalism
Monitor dining room activity to ensure guest comfort and service efficiency
Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide accurate wait-time information
Support opening and closing duties as assigned

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and poised in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours

Preferred

Previous hostess or front-of-house experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience a plus
Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) preferred
