Regulatory Analyst
The UK Regulators' Network is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to join the Office of Rail and Road’s Periodic Reviews & Monitoring team within the Economics, Finance and Markets Directorate. The role focuses on preparing for the next funding process for railway infrastructure in Great Britain and involves reviewing Network Rail's business plans and supporting various projects within the team.

Responsibilities
Preparing for the next funding process for the railway infrastructure in Great Britain
Reviewing Network Rail’s annual business plans to determine whether it is on track to deliver what it is required to do
Supporting the review of periodic updates to Network Rail’s business plan
Supporting the development of high-level advice to funders on whether Network Rail is on track to deliver its commitments
Providing support to other important projects within the team
Conducting preparatory work for the next funding process and potentially other areas such as supporting competition or other case/project work
Qualification
Required
Experience in regulatory analysis or a related field
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Understanding of financial and economic principles related to infrastructure funding
Experience in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
Preferred
Knowledge of the railway industry and its regulatory framework
Experience working with government or public sector organizations
Familiarity with competition analysis and economic assessments
