Responsibilities
Analyze business and user requirements and design end-to-end system and data warehouse solutions
Design, enhance, and maintain complex systems, programs, and utilities
Lead data analysis, database design, and development of logical and physical data models (relational & dimensional)
Develop source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, data quality rules, and BI objects
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large and varied data sets
Design and support ETL workflows, including reading and analyzing existing mappings
Create and maintain database structures (DDL) for Oracle and Redshift, including performance tuning
Support data warehouse integrations across multiple data marts
Conduct gap and impact analysis for source or requirement changes
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve complex issues and deliver milestones on schedule
Qualification
Required
7+ years of systems analysis experience in a data warehouse environment
3+ years of hands-on experience architecting data warehouse solutions
Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and SDLC methodologies
Experience with AWS Glue (ETL and data flow analysis)
Experience with Oracle (10g or higher)
Experience with Amazon Redshift
Experience with MicroStrategy (2019 or higher preferred)
Experience with data modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Erwin)
Experience with metadata management across BI, ETL, and database platforms
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
Must be US citizen
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
9–13 years of related professional experience
Preferred
Experience with MicroStrategy BI development
Experience designing enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics solutions
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization in large data environments
