Responsibilities
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling
Interpreting technical drawings
Testing network connections
Ensuring compliance with BICSI standards
Collaborating closely with team members and other trades to provide reliable and efficient solutions for clients
Upholding high-quality workmanship and following safety protocols while working on-site
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in installing, terminating, and testing copper and fiber optic cabling
Understanding of BICSI standards and certification as a BICSI Technician (Copper, Fiber, or TECH)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting structured cabling and connectivity issues
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members and clients
Knowledge of safety standards and experience adhering to workplace safety protocols
Physical ability to work in various environments, including lifting and climbing ladders
Preferred
Prior experience in technology systems integration or related fields is a plus
