WSP is a leading engineering and professional services firm, seeking an Intermediate Professional, Civil Engineer for their Orlando, Florida office. The role involves supporting the Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Team, ensuring high-quality standards, and contributing to transmission line design projects.

Responsibilities
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
Preferred
Minimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA)
Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable
Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired
