Director of Venues - Lead the AV Experiences That Bring Venues to Life

Responsibilities
Lead multi-site operations and cross-functional teams, driving efficiency, growth, and exceptional client experiences
Shape the operational strategy and growth of audiovisual services across multiple high-profile venues
Oversee complex, multi-site operations, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality AV solutions that enhance client and partner experiences
Act as a key liaison between internal teams, venue partners, and clients, driving operational consistency, compliance, and performance across all locations
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for Venue AV Managers and onsite technical teams
Define operational strategies that elevate service quality, improve efficiency, and support long-term revenue growth
Partner with executive leadership to guide venue expansion, infrastructure investment, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Manage operational and financial performance across multiple locations, including budget management, forecasting, and P&L oversight
Optimize staffing, resource allocation, and equipment deployment while implementing process improvements that increase efficiency, margins, and scalability
Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, and equipment lifecycle management, ensuring that all projects and services are delivered reliably, on time, and at the highest quality standards
Qualification
Required
Extensive leadership experience in construction management, general contracting, or multi-site operations
Proven track record managing distributed teams and complex projects
Strong operational and financial acumen
Technical knowledge of infrastructure and AV systems
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
Accountability for operational and financial performance across multiple locations
Budget management, forecasting, and P&L oversight
Optimization of staffing, resource allocation, and equipment deployment
Implementation of process improvements that increase efficiency, margins, and scalability
Oversight of vendor relationships, procurement, and equipment lifecycle management
Flexibility to travel regularly to assigned venues
Preferred
Experience in facilities or venue operations
Project management certification
Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and risk management standards
