Responsibilities
Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks
Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule
Establish process design basis
Develop process options and optimizations of selected design
Calculate and organize data for process flow sheets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
At least 4 year of experience working on Life Science / Manufacturing projects
Working knowledge of PipeFlo (Professional and Compressible), AFT Fathom, SmartPlant or comparable software programs
Working knowledge of main types of process equipment i.e. pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuges
Preferred
Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ASME piping code (B31.3)
Familiarity with ASME BPE (Bioprocessing Equipment)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
