Regional Director Neuroscience Services

Veterans in Healthcare is seeking a Regional Director of Neuroscience Services to direct the department's activities and resources in alignment with the organization's mission and values. Responsibilities

Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits
Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements
Promotes a Culture of Safety by adhering to policy, procedures and plans that are in place to prevent workplace injury, violence or adverse outcome to associates and patients

Required

Master's degree in Nursing, Business or Health Administration required
Nursing licensure/certification if applicable
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in service line leadership roles, including management of physician specialty practices
Effective Communication Skills
Proven experience including initiating key projects, allocating resources and achieving results
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects concurrently
Demonstrates competency in financial analysis and management, outcomes management, service excellence, leadership in an interdisciplinary environment and system thinking
Strong analytical, evaluative and problem solving skills to anticipate and resolve a broad range of issues, to create innovative solutions, to independently evaluate situations and to outline ramifications of multiple solutions/options
