Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrate uncompromised integrity while working cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Lead the ARM team by observing ARM interactions with accounts, providing them with individual coaching, feedback, and inspiration consistent with Eisai’s policies
Help ARMs continue to develop for success in current role and for future growth
Provide ongoing development, training, coaching, assessment, and motivation to retain talent to support appropriate access and reimbursement to drive Eisai’s human health care mission
Manage all ARMs activity with assigned accounts and coordinate collaboration of Eisai access and reimbursement efforts to assess patient access needs
Develop and implement strategies and plans for the ARM team that are consistent with achieving Eisai’s access and reimbursement goals
Maintain open communication with relevant and appropriate cross functional colleagues and departments to exchange information, understand, and develop solutions to patient access challenges for Eisai products
When necessary, travel overnight to assigned accounts and conduct field visits to conferences, trainings, and company meetings

Required

BA/BS Degree required
7-10 years of previous pharmaceutical or biotech experience required, including 5 years of previous account management or field-based access and reimbursement experience
Strong understanding of specialty access and reimbursement landscape, current trends and opportunities
Significant experience working with Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) and other patient access and support programs
Ability to develop and manage relationships and tailor communications to a variety of audiences
Understanding of the buying & distribution process at the physician level
Entrepreneurial nature and ability to think strategically and creatively to lead, influence, meet, and adapt to changing needs of both internal ARM team and external customers in support of patient access
Ability to effectively lead collaborations in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders, internal and external to the organization
Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role of up to 70%
Must be able to organize, prioritize, and work effectively to meet deadlines within in a constantly changing environment
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments along with demonstrated integrity on the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle safely and successfully is required

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree in a related field
Buy & bill experience with a medical benefit infused product
Thorough clinical understanding of neurology and oncology disease therapeutic area, including in-patient and out-patient care management
