Responsibilities

Design, implement, and validate power systems to meet the requirements of new products developed for our customers
Investigate and develop new power technologies that will enable Celestica to better meet our customers’ needs

Qualification

Power system designCircuit simulation toolsPCB voltage simulationLow voltage DC-DC convertersTestingTroubleshootingProactive problem solvingCross-functional teamworkVerbal communicationWritten communicationPresentation skills

Required

BSEE
2 or more years of experience as a power engineer
Experience designing power systems for networking, compute or storage products
Proficiency using schematic capture and CAD layout review tools
Proficiency using circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE and LTSpice
Proficiency using PCB voltage gradient simulation tools such as Cadence Sigrity PowerDC
Strong working knowledge of design of low voltage DC-DC converters, buck converters, LDOs
Proficiency testing and troubleshooting complex power systems
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to think proactively and drive issues to resolution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present to various audiences effectively
