Account Executive — Cybersecurity
Careful Security is a boutique cybersecurity consulting firm specializing in compliance assessments for startups and mid-market companies. They are seeking a sales expert to own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while managing a pipeline and nurturing warm referrals.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads via LinkedIn, email sequences, and warm introductions
Manage pipeline in Pipedrive CRM — from first touch to signed contract
Run discovery calls and qualify prospects against our Ideal Customer Profile
Draft proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
Nurture warm referrals from audit firm and cyber insurance partnerships
Sell both consulting services (assessments, readiness programs) and our Dashr.ai platform
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of closing B2B deals — you'll share specific numbers in the interview
Experience selling professional services, SaaS, or to mid-market companies ($10M-$500M revenue)
Self-directed, low-maintenance, metrics-driven — you don't need hand-holding
Comfortable with consultative selling (not transactional)
Hungry for uncapped commission — you want to bet on yourself
GRC/compliance knowledge is a plus — but strong sales fundamentals beat industry experience
Benefits
Commission: 10% of closed contract value (uncapped)
Accelerator: 15% commission after $300K annual quota
