Responsibilities
Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs with guidance from senior engineers
Assist with control system design, including I/O layouts, panel designs, and network configurations
Support commissioning activities such as I/O checks, system testing, and troubleshooting
Contribute to drawings, documentation, test procedures, and change logs
Collaborate with engineers and field teams to ensure quality project execution
Learn and apply company standards, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
AS Degree or certification from an accredited college or technical school in electrical, electronics, engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel with short notice
Ability to quickly understand complex applications
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
PLC programming skills, focusing on ladder logic
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software
Ability to use own initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to comfortably liaise with both internal and external customers
Learning mindset and willingness to continually improve technical skills
Ability to spend extended times in an industrial environment (possibility of heat, dirt, noise, or olfactory)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
