Power Generation Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Prepares designs, calculations, drawings, layouts and/or studies from field inspections, preliminary sketches, rough diagrams, or specifications
Checks drawings, designs, or other work
Coordinates and directs the work of employees in lower classifications and provides guidance for training, orientation, or familiarization purposes to associates engaged in allied work
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in the appropriate field of engineering from a recognized college or its equivalent in education and experience
Equivalency may include education and design drafting experience totaling six years, or education and experience totaling four years including two years at PG&E as a Design Drafter or Senior Design Drafter
Must have a working knowledge of material and equipment including commonly used national specifications and standards, building, or other appropriate codes and fundamental engineering principles and techniques
Preferred
Working knowledge of material and equipment fundamental engineering principles and techniques
Bentley MicroStation Experience
Bentley ProjectWise Experience
Revu Bluebeam Experience
Experience working with hybrid legacy scanned drawings within MicroStation CAD
Previous experience with PGE WLO process and reporting
