Responsibilities
Develop and execute a national payor relations strategy across MCOs, Medicaid agencies, the VA, and other funders
Lead complex, multi-state payor negotiations and contracting, including fee-for-service, quality incentives, and value-based models
Partner with strategy, advocacy, finance, and operations to support growth, market expansion, and new funding models
Advance innovative care delivery approaches, including family-selected and self-directed care
Manage payor risk, regulatory alignment, and compliance considerations
Represent the organization externally with payors, industry groups, and national forums
Build and lead a high-performing, matrixed payor relations team
Qualification
Required
10+ years in payor relations, managed care, or government healthcare programs
Strong knowledge of Medicaid, HCBS, I/DD, and VA programs
Proven success with national negotiations and payor strategy
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Master's degree
