Responsibilities

Defining product features, functional specs, infrastructure design, resource planning, and development schedules
Scoping and prioritizing features and bug fixes
Representing the team and its technology in cross-functional technical and project meetings
Advise and encourage adherence to engineering best practices to deliver high-quality features
Drive innovative solutions built on cutting-edge technologies
Define and build a diverse, world-class engineering team

Required

5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing software engineering teams
10+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing scalable micro-services-based platforms
Extensive experience managing ops and infrastructure
Prior experience as a software engineer with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering best practices
Strong development skills in Java, C++, C#, Python, or similar languages
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop engineers
Experience with project planning and resource allocation

Preferred

Experience in building agentic workflow services with MCP integrations
Experience managing distributed or remote teams
Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly presentation skills
