Senior Cost & Inventory Manager
LLFlex is seeking a Senior Cost & Inventory Manager who will oversee cost accounting, inventory control, and related financial analysis. This role involves ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership.

Responsibilities
Oversee inventory accounting and ensure GAAP-compliant valuation
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support documentation
Prepare analysis of manufacturing productivity/cost/financial performance
Prepare and/or ensure the integrity of monthly close process, cost review package, Key Performance Indicators, and statistics for manufacturing
Update files and templates used by internal and external (outside plant) customers
Prepare, update periodic financial, operational forecasts, and provide variance analysis
Prepare various cost/opportunity analysis
Monitor and validate financial information contained in various consolidated systems used to support the manufacturing businesses
Participate in cross-functional business improvement initiatives
Monitor and maintain internal controls for Operations. Conduct periodic audits of internal control processes and recommend corrective actions
Lead the planning process for assigned Manufacturing Operations and promote accountability to achieve plan results
Support budgeting, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes
Coordinate physical inventory counts and investigate variances
Expert knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation methodologies, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with the ability to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting

Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost structures, productivity drivers, and margin impact
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial and operational data, identify trends and risks, and provide clear, data-driven insights to support executive decision-making
Proven experience managing and maintaining strong internal controls over inventory and manufacturing cost processes, including audit readiness and remediation of control gaps
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; ability to build, maintain, and interpret detailed cost, variance, and performance analyses
Experience working with ERP and consolidated financial systems, with a focus on data integrity, system controls, and reporting accuracy
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to lead planning, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes for manufacturing operations
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely financial information in a deadline-driven environment
Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to explain financial results, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and non-financial partners
High level of professional judgment, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required
7–10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting and inventory management, preferably in manufacturing
Preferred
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
