Millennium Space Systems, part of Boeing, is seeking an Audio/Visual Programmer to join their team in the National Capital Region. This role involves designing, developing, and testing high-performance AV solutions for government customers, as well as generating custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers
Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies
Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements. Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems
Support onsite deployment of AV systems and system configuration phases. Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required
Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans
Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations
Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications

Required

1+ years of related experience for level 2, 3+ years for level 3, 5+ years for level 4
Crestron experience
Experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic
Network programming experience
Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP)

Preferred

Experience translating customer requirements into software designs
Knowledge of software systems configuration management
Experience with C# programming
Experience with object oriented programming
Experience with HTML/web programming (for user interface design)
Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher
Experience working with local and remote teams
Experience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and management
Experience working as a member of a development team
